The Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton showcases its innovative R808 movement – a marvel of contrasts, know-how and intelligent geometry that provides a clear view of the various components. It is equipped with an anti-magnetic and highly reliable Nivachron™ hairspring, which has been extensively tested in five positions and offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Its masterfully crafted monobloc case with a matte finish is framed by a bezel insert made of circularly brushed plasma high-tech ceramic, colour-matched to the case and the outer links of the bracelet. Within the rotating bezel, an index ring in a warm, light rose-gold tone provides additional contrast – alongside a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The dial is deliberately understated. The hands are treated with Super-LumiNova® for better legibility in low light conditions.
